Digital delights.
In 2021, inspired by our WebGL interactives, Zephyr appointed us to create a small selection of interactives for their web pages. These innovative additions aimed to showcase Zephyr's latest appliances directly on their web pages, replacing basic product photography with interactivity for a more engaging experience of their products.
3D appliances online, anywhere.
Built using the latest WebGL technology the interactives integrate seamlessly into Zephyr’s existing website and work on all devices and browsers. This meant that whether customers were browsing on their desktop computers, tablets, or smartphones, they could explore Zephyr's appliances in stunning 3D detail. Each appliance can be explored in 3D with hot-spots added to animate features, open doors and slid out shelves to demonstrate the product advantages and characteristics. This virtual exploration gives customers better insight into the capabilities, allowing them to make informed purchasing decisions.
Augmented reality ventilation.
In 2019 Zephyr commissioned a downloadable augmented reality app for their Titan series of range cooker hoods – The Zephyr Kitchen Experience. We’ve steadily maintained this app with updates, adding new releases from their ventilation collection.
Our kitchen or yours?
Built with Unity using ARCore and ARKit, the Zephyr kitchen experience provides a fully working 3D representation of the Titan cooker hood. Running on both Apple’s iOS and Google’s Android platforms users can explore in their own kitchen space, or choose an example kitchen from the built-in library.
Engineering accuracy.
It was clear that precision on this project was really important to give the best representation of the hood. Every element was considered, right down to the smallest of details like the fully functioning LCD screen. Users can interact, switching fan speeds, lights and timers or delve deeper into the workings in the exploration mode to view the internal blowers and technical product specifications.
