Dream desks.
With hundreds of configurations, an abundance of clever utilitarian accessories and seven premium wood finishes (which can also be mixed and matched), the Wyrmwood modular desk was a perfect candidate for one of our online configurators.
Our developers and team of 3D artists designed and built an intuitive interactive desk, adding hotspots with animated cameras to assist with more detailed configurations. The configurable cubby storage cabinets required more complex custom logic to make sure that combinations of shelving, drawers and cupboards were viable.
Textures.
Wyrmwood draws from an exotic range of timber species, with seven wood options available for this desk. Solid jointed boards are used to create larger engineered planks which gives the desk a unique look.
In order to replicate this our 3D artists created custom tileable textures, adding timber joins and planks to give an accurate representation of the actual desk.

Any device, any browser.
Wyrmwood specified that they wanted a 3D configurator that would integrate seamlessly into their website without the need for plugins or apps. We used the latest WebGL technology to ensure the tool works on all modern browsers and devices, and could also be easily incorporated into their Kickstarter campaign.
