Renno Interactive Configurators
Interactive onboarding.
Renno wanted to add an interactive element to their online platform to simplify the home renovation process. By removing common sticking points along the journey through a typical home renovation they’ve been able to streamline the process for their clients. Pairing customers with vetted contractors in their area and sourcing quality refurb materials. Using Renno’s online onboarding template, their website guides prospective customers through to two brand new interactive bathroom and kitchen configurators which they commissioned us to develop.
Design it online.
Renno’s hierarchical navigation structure guides users to the relevant 360° configurator, collecting appropriate information about their choice of interior style and size.
Designing in a 3D environment online gives the customer a sense of how their completed interior might look, without having to stress about the minor details, which can be captured at a later stage by their contractor. Each configurator gives the ability to instantly deliver millions of possible configurations without having to shop around online.
Familiarising customers.
Both configurators are built using the latest WebGL technology, allowing them to integrate seamlessly into Renno’s website. No need for any additional software, plugins or browser extensions, they just work on any modern browser and device. We also coordinated a matching user interface with a straightforward dashboard and hotspot zones built into the 3D view.
Online pricing.
Integration with an API gives instant online pricing estimates, allowing users to adjust the design to suit their budget. The client also included automatic monthly financing estimates based on the price calculation.
Speed and simplicity.
Kitchens and bathrooms can be effortlessly configured by the customer in just a few clicks, capturing the appropriate information needed to arrange a contractor. And in turn simplifying and accelerating the process by cutting down store visits, contractor selection and scaling down the customer’s decision making requirements.
